Julia Vickers, a local area writer and filmmaker, will speak on March 18, 2015. Movies and novels talk to us about our culture and about ourselves. Join Julia Vickers, producer of the documentary Jungian Archetype in Film, to discuss classic novels and films that have endured. The Wizard of Oz, Frankenstein and film noir, are just a few to be discussed. The title of her talk will be Jungian Archetype in Film and Novels.
Julia Vickers has been working in the Washington DC documentary community for over 15 years and has worked for PBS, WDCA and numerous independent documentaries. She is the author of Lou von Salome and The Fourth Fragment.

The meeting is open to the public and free to MWA members and first-time guests. All others may pay $5.00. Annual dues to MWA are $40.00 and include other benefits on top of monthly attendance.
