For the March meeting, Mary will be performing as Grace O’ Malley, the Sea Queen of Connaught! This daring leader and trader commanded the west coast of Ireland and an entire fleet of ships in the 1500’s. Grace, also called Grania, fought for Irish rights and faced down Queen Elizabeth of England herself with astonishing results. Following her performance, Mary will detail how she researches and writes historical scripts. To learn more about Mary and her many characters, visit http://www.historyaliveshows.com
